Have you ever wondered how you can support a student who has run out of financial aid and is looking for a way to make college more affordable for them? Or, maybe you’ve asked yourself how you can recruit and retain students who will persist to graduation once enrolled. City Year and City Year Buffalo have the answer to both of those questions.
Whether it is a student who is looking for ways to make college more accessible and affordable for them or you are looking to recruit college-ready students with experience and skills that will help them persist to graduation, City Year has created pathways to help in both scenarios and more! Join Jacqueline Ashby, Executive Director of City Year Buffalo, and DJ Schier, Senior Manager for People and Operations at City Year Buffalo, to learn more about all the reasons why a partnership with City Year makes sense for your campus and your students.
In this virtual session, we will go into all the ways a strategic partnership can benefit your college campus, including:
- What City Year is and the benefit of a student completing a year of service
- The benefits of partnering with City Year, including targeted recruitment of City Year graduates
- Ways to help a student afford college when Financial Aid is no longer an option for them
- Data supporting persistence rates of City Year graduates to complete their college degree
- Partnerships in place with colleges across the country and how you can become part of that
